Procurement Specialist

Job Specification:

• Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in Finance / Project Management / Engineering. Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant role & 2 years in FMCG Industry is preferred.
• Experience in Finance function in similar industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial procurement & negotiations
• Experience in using SAP applications would be added advantage.
• Ability to influence with interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of technical expertise relative to any commodities.

Job Responsibilities :

• Plans, organizes & manages the procurement process in compliance to business process.
• Interface with Suppliers, logistics provider, for all matters related to the procurement of materials, equipment and services scope.
• Develop in conjunction with relevant Managers/Coordinators at Regional/Head offices for the Project/Routine in relation to Procurement & its Execution.
• Handle and manage RFP’s, assist in commercial evaluations, PO award & PO administration to final delivery.
• Meticulously carry out detailed tracking of Project Related Order Cost, & co-ordination level of assistance with Finance team, Bank & Vendor related to payments/advances.
• Communication with Internal & External Stakeholders
• Resolving situational issues/errors related with Customers/Vendors
• Proper Tracking trends in terms of commodities, currency, and inflation per country for effective management & administration of procurement.
