Dileep Agrawal, the company's current chairman and managing director, founded WorldLink in September 1995 with the intention of offering IT and Internet services. WorldLink initially offered store-and-forward e-mail services via a dial-up connection to the Internet in the US. The company's ongoing expansion ambitions compelled it to offer full Internet access via a dedicated leased-line to the US Internet backbone via Teleglobe International. After providing this service for two years, WorldLink began connecting to the Internet directly using its own VSAT terminal in 1997 and continued doing so until June 2008, totally eschewing Nepal Telecommunications Corporation.

Job Responsibilities :

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively monitor IP/MPLS, DWDM, FTTH, WiFi Hotspots, SDH and Wireless network infrastructure and react to problem round the clock 24×7.
Outage reporting and documentation.
Prepare and edit necessary database for proactive monitoring.
Daily reporting to supervisor.
Add/delete elements from monitoring system according to requirement in Nagios.
Help NOC/Server with emergency matters on Data Center.
