Position Overview:

Jagdamba Steels Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Officer to join our team at the Corporate Office in Kathmandu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless and secure operation of our critical IT systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of server management, network security, and virtualization tools.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Mail Servers, and cloud environments.

Job Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all services hosted at Head Office (e.g., HRMS, Tally), including configuration, support, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery (DR).
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Active Directory.
• Administer and troubleshoot Mail Servers (Zimbra, O365).
• Manage VMware ESXi environments.
• Handle domain and cPanel management.
• Ensure operational readiness of third-party applications (e.g., App Anywhere, SMS).
• Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux server hardware and operating systems.
• Oversee contract signoffs and related IT documentation.
• Assist Line Manager and Network Engineer with new and existing IT project implementations.
• Manage switches, firewalls, and monitor networks at both Corporate Office and Factory.
• Oversee endpoint security configurations.
• Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing to junior IT team members.
