Job Specification:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in first-class deluxe or reputable free-standing restaurants is a must. Ability to deliver a very refined and quality product and for guests to experience an exceptional and memorable dining occasion. 
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills and be a leader and role model for all employees with strong leadership experience
  •  Bachelor in Hotel Management or Business Administration
  • Able to lead, train and schedule staffs
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to calculate food costs and maintain inventory
  • Great attention to details
  • Team Player
  • Well-equipped in using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Creative and Intuitive
  • Self-Motivated

Job Responsibilities :

This role will be appealing to someone who wants to work in an Indian Cuisine Restaurant specializing in unique delicacies. The main objective of this role is to ensure the kitchen is handled efficiently and managed effectively. The head chef will supervise the entire kitchen team.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the Kitchen and ensure smooth operations
  • Lead, Train, and Schedule Kitchen Staffs
  • Controlling and directing the food preparation process
  • Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer
  • Managing and working closely with other kitchen staff
  • Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality in coordination with our Consulting Chef based in India
  • Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
  • Responsible for ensuring the regulatory and sanitary requirements of the kitchen and ensuring food hygiene practices in the kitchen
  • Calculate food costs
