Job Specification:

  •  Bachelor’s or above in education or related field.
  • At least 3 years proven experience in delivering effective training programs in a development organization or similar.
  •  In-depth knowledge of evidence-based instructional approaches and remedial education.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories.
  • Ability to adapt training content to different audiences and educational contexts.
  •  Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation processes to assess training impact.
  •  Flexibility to travel to various working areas as required frequently.

Job Responsibilities :

Program Planning and Implementation

  • Design comprehensive and engaging training programs for teachers, educators and trainers. Develop training modules, materials, and resources aligned with Recovery and Accelerated Learning Plan (ReAL Plan –2023/28) and the specific needs of the target beneficiaries.
  •  Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for teachers, educators and trainers to enhance their understanding of the methodology. Utilize interactive and participatory training techniques to promote active learning and skill development.
  •  Develop the capacity of teachers and educators in facilitation, assessment, and evaluation.
  •  Provide guidance and support on building their capacity to deliver effective training programs. Conduct mentoring and coaching sessions to enhance their instructional skills and pedagogical knowledge.
  • Adapt the instruction manual or guideline to suit the local context and needs of different regions or schools. Modify training materials and resources accordingly to ensure relevance and effectiveness in diverse educational settings aligning the ReAL Plan 2023/28
  • Offer ongoing instant technical support to trainers, teachers, educators, in the project implementation. Respond to inquiries, provide guidance, and address challenges related to instructional strategies, assessment techniques, and data analysis.
  •  Working together with trainers, teacher, educators and school’s in enhancing quality of project implementation and problems solving;
  •  Work closely with different departments of Aasaman Nepal for effective and smooth implementation of the project.

Coordination and Communication

  • Collaborate with program team, stakeholders, and partner organizations to align training efforts with program goals and objectives. Establish networks and partnerships to share best practices and enhance the overall implementation.
  • Work closely with teachers, students, parents, educators’, management committees and community people for effectiveness the project;
  • Provide periodic inputs to Aasaman Nepal and partner organization for the effectiveness project.
  • Conduct regular follow up meeting with partner, teachers, students, parents, educators, and management committees.

Monitoring and Reporting

  •  Assist to develop mechanisms of assess the effectiveness of the training programs. Collect feedback, conduct observations, and use data to evaluate the impact of the training and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
  •  Assist to regularly monitor learning progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly in coordination with provincial coordinator and other team member. Use formative assessments to track individual student growth and identify areas that require additional support.
  • Assist to data assessment and provide reports on learning progress and program effectiveness. Collaborate with program coordinators to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Foster positive relationships and communicate regularly about learning progress and needs.
  •  Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant attendance, and progress. Prepare reports on training outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future training initiatives.
  •  Prepare and share timely and accurate progressive reports periodically to line manager.
  • Mentoring and coaching educators, teachers on the spot wherever/whenever required.
