Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and patient-focused Health Assistant to provide quality care and support to patients in a mental healthcare setting. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team while maintaining patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic care and support to patients in a mental healthcare setting.
  • Monitor patients’ physical health, behavior, and overall well-being.
  • Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily activities.
  • Support nurses and doctors during patient care and treatment.
  • Administer or assist with medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients.
  • Observe and report any changes in patients’ condition or behavior.
  • Provide emotional support and communicate with patients respectfully.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and reports.
  • Follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and patient-care standards.
