Legal Officer

Job Specification:

• Must have minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• Advocate License is compulsory (Notary license is preferable)
• At least 2/3 years of experience preferably in Insurance/Bank/Finance.
• Fluency and strong writing/verbal skills in Nepali and English
• Knowledge of all applicable laws, rules and regulations
• Ability to prepare complex legal documents
• Skill in drafting legal documents/instruments
• Should be able to handle all legal matters independently
• Good ability of Nepali Typing
• Valid Driving License (2 Wheeler)

Job Responsibilities :

• Manage, review all corporate and legal documents to ensure compliance with company standard and policies and provide legal advice on concerned documents
• Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management
• Perform other functions that maybe assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
• Handle law enforcing agencies, government, semi-government or autonomous bodies for a personnel-related legal dispute.
• Check documents or papers for compliance and correctness
• Drafts contracts, briefs, notices, memoranda, circulars, correspondence, orders, reports, and other legal forms
