Position: Senior Account Officer

Location: Gairidhara, Kathmandu

Position Overview:

Shaurya Cements Industries Limited is seeking a dedicated Senior Account Officer to oversee key financial operations, ensure accurate SAP reporting, and support compliance across departments. The role involves frequent travel to the factory site and close coordination with on-ground teams to maintain financial integrity and drive operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP system ( Preferred but Not Mandatory)
• Willingness to travel to rem factory locations frequently.

Job Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Factory team (Stores/Production) to ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting in SAP.
• Prepare and maintain sales summary reports in accordance with the prescribed format.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of trading sales and purchases.
• Track and reconcile clearing accounts in SAP, including GR/IR and WIP clearing.
• Manage payroll and ensure timely SAP updates.
• Track insurance claim statuses and follow up for claim settlements.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of VAT and TDS entries.
• Manage Letters of Credit and oversee CAPEX accounting.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Receivable processes efficiently.
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare related reports.
• Manage logistics company accounts and transactions.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
